ENTER A VIDEO
So, you think you have what it takes...
And you're totally right! We accept all comers! There's no video too obscure, no footage too shaky, no title sequence too generic that we wouldn't be able to find some sort of award for it. I believe in you. Plus... we'll all be drunk, so the pressure is totally off. So grab your GoPro, or phone, or whatever, and GET OUT THERE!! It's about having fun, and sharing your own unique creativity with a bunch of like-minded individuals who all value adventure and personal growth.
Enjoy, Inspire, Create, and drink lots of beer. That would be our motto if we had one...
THE RULES
VIDEO ENTRIES
1. Entering a video in the competition is free, and you may enter as many as you like
2. Videos must be between 2 and 12 minutes long
3. There is no set theme, but outdoor activities are encouraged
4. You, or a delegate, must be present at the EAFF for your video to be included
5. You have 30 seconds before your video is shown to introduce it, and 2 minutes after to answer any questions
6. You MUST answer the questions
7. You can't use songs from the prohibited list without incurring a penalty shot. The prohibited list is made the day of the event. Good luck.
8. Any deviation from the rules earns you a penalty shot of the judge's choosing
9. The winner gets roasted at the next EAFF...

But I don't have a feature length video...
That's OK! We totally thought of that! For those of few frames who prefer the short and sweet approach, we have the highly sought-after 'Mountain Moments' award. These crisp clips are meant to capture the essence of a quintessential moment we have all experienced, or introduce us to a new one! As with the films, you may enter as many as you like, but each one must be less than 30 seconds long... which may prove harder than you think!
Times do not include the 'Mountain Moments' entry clip, which can be requested here.
I'm a really judgmental person... is that OK?
No problem. We've been looking for you. Not everyone has the creative genius (or you know, the time) to come up with an epic film, but that doesn't mean you can't make fun of those that did! Come and participate at this year's EAFF as one of our esteemed judges! Doll out penalty shots, accept bribes, and award our famous EAFF trophies as you nitpick and tut-tut disapprovingly at all the half-baked entries.
If you volunteer as a judge, the entry fee is waived, but you must be able to stay for the full event!

OK, you've convinced me. How do I enter?
You just did.
Completed entries are accepted on the day of the event via memory stick or similar device in any format (preferably .mp4). It will then be aired, judged, awarded a prize of some kind, and (with your permission) uploaded to YouTube to keep the interest in the event growing.
